Easter Family Activities and Games

What’s a party without fun games and activities for everyone to enjoy?! If you’re throwing an Easter Party this year then you might be in need of some Easter family activities and games. So, look no further because we’ve provided a list to get your party started!

Easter Egg Hunt – Easter can’t be Easter without the famous Easter egg hunt! You can fill plastic eggs with all sorts of sweet treats like candies and chocolate or you can fill it with other small goodies.

Another great game you can play along with the easter egg hunt is a puzzle. To make this puzzle more creative and fun place a few puzzle pieces inside the plastic eggs and then have everyone put the puzzle pieces together. Or, if you have a lot of people, you can get 2 different puzzles and split everyone into two different groups. Then have everyone find the eggs with the puzzle pieces and see which team can put their puzzle together first.

Egg and Spoon Race – Have everyone put an egg on a spoon and carefully run it to a finish line and the person who can make it to the end without dropping the egg wins.

Pin the Tail – Everyone knows about the game, pin the tail on the donkey but since it’s Easter, make sure to pin the tail on the Rabbit!

Easter Basket Scavenger Hunt – Hide random items in the house and/or the backyard and then create a list of those items and hand copies of the list out to everyone at your party along with an Easter basket. Have everyone try and find as many items from the list that they can find and whoever finds the most items from the list can win a basket filled with goodies

Musical Easter Baskets – Who needs chairs when there are Easter baskets! This game is played similar to musical chairs but instead of running around chairs and sitting on them, you run around baskets and grab one. Play the music and when the music stops have everyone grab a basket and whoever doesn’t have a basket, in the end, is out. Just like you take away a chair in musical chairs, here you take away a basket until there are 2 people remaining and whoever gets the basket, in the end, can win a basket.

Blind Bunny – Give everyone a blank sheet of paper, a pen and something to cover their eyes with. They have everyone draw a bunny on their paper while their eyes are closed. The person who is able to draw the best looking closest looking bunny can win something.

With games like the ones above, you’ll definitely have a great time celebrating Easter with everyone you love. Have fun and stay safe!  Happy Easter!
