Budget-Friendly Summer Party Ideas!

Are you throwing a summer party but you’re on a budget? Check out this post and see how you can still throw a great party while being on a budget! Whether it’s how to decorate your home or what foods to make or even what to do, we’ve got a list created just for you.

  • When decorating your tables use flower arrangements and colorful fruits and vegetables to add a touch of color to every table. Also when decorating with flowers, instead of buying flowers from a store, go to your backyard and get flower and plants and create your own flower arrangements that you can decorate with.
  • Rather than having a formal sit down dinner at your place, opt to serving bite-sized snacks and appetizers. Not only will you save money on a big fancy people but you’ll save yourself some time as well.
  • Do your family and friends enjoy dancing? Rather than going out dancing, just move your furniture inside the house to the side or clear up some space in the backyard. Once you’ve made space for dancing all that’s left is the music!
  • Have a food bar! You can do any kind of food bars such as a taco bar, hot dog or hamburger bar, a cold pasta bar or a salad bar. Just provide cut up vegetables and meats and let your guests create their own meal. For dessert, you can have an ice cream sundae bar and let everyone create their own sundaes with condiments you spread out.
  • Another fun party idea is to have some sort of theme for your party whether it’s an 80s party theme or a Hawaiian party theme. You can decorate your house with the theme you’ve chosen and even have your guests dress up accordingly too!
  • Have a food eating contest! You can use just about any type of food from hot dogs, to pies to even eating out of a watermelon.
  • If you want to have actually food dishes rather than small bites and appetizers then turn your party into a pot-luck party. You can ask each of your guests to bring one favorite food dish. This way you’ll have a variety of food and you’ll even get to save money on food yourself.
  • You can also turn your party into a game night party or movie night. Have guests bring board games or give movie suggestions and include that in your party.

Hopefully, these budget-friendly summer party ideas will help you get started throwing your own party. Enjoy your summer party!
