This means that you are getting enough sleep each night, anywhere from 7 to 8 hours of sleep is a good amount. - It’s important to get in some physical exercise not just for your heart but for your overall health and well-being. Even if it’s 20-30 mins a day, it’s important to exercise as it can help with keeping your heart healthy, maintaining your weight and even keeping you upbeat and positive.
- In addition to exercising, it’s important that you eat healthy as well. Make sure you are eating healthy foods that are good for your heart and overall body, especially foods that have great nutritional values. If you are unsure, you can speak with your doctor or a nutritionist about what they would recommend you eat based on your current health.
- Another important factor to take care of in regards to your health is mental health. If you feel like you’re constantly feeling sad or having mixed emotions it’s important to seek help because mental health can have an effect on your heart.
- Lastly, make sure that you’re seeing your doctor on a regular basis. It’s important to make sure that you get a full physical done at least once a year so your doctor can check for any issues. If you are someone who suffers from high blood pressure or high cholesterol, making it a point to speak with your doctor or a nutritionist and learn how to control it so you can reduce the high levels.
