Things You Can Do While Taking a Break from Work
Working from home during the Coronavirus Pandemic can become difficult, especially if you’re not used to it or if you’ve got work plus your family to manage. So, what are some things you can do when you need a break from work or the kids? Check out the list of activities you can do when you need that break.
- Power Nap ( Just don’t forget to put an alarm on!)
- Meditate or Yoga (Great for your mind and body)
- Feeling Hungry? Fix yourself a healthy snack!
- Take a break from technology and read a book or magazine.
- Call a family member or friend that you’ve not spoken to in a while.
- If the weather permits, go for a short walk. You can walk in your backyard or your apartment complex or even just around the block.
- Bike Riding, Rollerblading, Skateboarding
- Start a puzzle and work on it a little each day.
- Catch up on an old show or watch reruns of your favorite childhood shows.
- Listen to music or even a podcast.
- Learn or teach yourself something new, whether it’s playing a new instrument or learning a new language.
- Clean or organize a small section of your place each day.
- Are you someone who never deletes emails? Use break time to go through old work and personal emails and start deleting.
- Organize the photos on your phone or on your computer.
- If you have pets, play with them or take your dog for a walk.
- If you have kids, spend time with them.
Hopefully, one of these activities will help you when you need a break. Take breaks and don’t work too hard!
