Working From Home? Let’s Set Up Your Home Office!

Have you started working from home because of the Coronavirus? Are you having trouble setting up your home office? Well, we’ve compiled a list of things to take into consideration as well as items that you’ll need.

The first thing you want to do when deciding where to set up your home office is to find a nice quiet place that also has good lighting or even a nice view. If there’s no room with good lighting, look for a lamp or some type of light fixture that gives decent lighting. Next, you’ll want to make sure that you have a good surface to work on, whether it’s a desk or your dining room table. Also, make sure that you have a comfortable chair to sit in, preferably one that has good back support.

Two other important things that you will want to have to run your home office efficiently are a strong and reliable internet service (high-speed internet) and a reliable landline phone or cell phone that you can contact people with. In addition to the internet and phone, be sure that you have all the supplied you need. This includes things such as notebooks, pens, post-its and other supplies you think you might need.

Lastly, it might be a good idea to come up with a daily work schedule. This will help keep you organized and productive throughout the day. Remember to take breaks in between so that your rest your mind and eyes and can continued to stay focused on the task at hand.
